Latinos Give their Vote on Hispanic Heritage

Cover_grupo_privadoAbout the campaign:

This year’s U.S. presidential election will have a major impact on Latinos in the U.S. and across the Americas, so it is more important than ever for Latinos to raise their voices and vote. That’s why this Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15), HIPGive is launching a campaign called Latinos Give their Vote to raise awareness and support nonprofits working to get out the Latino vote.

In celebration of National Voter Registration Day, on September 27, HIPGive will provide $10,000 USD in matching funds to boost the fundraising efforts of participating nonprofits! Plus, we’re waiving admin fees for the contest, so every dollar raised will go directly to your programs.

Latinos Give Their Vote Matching Fund Rules:

HH Matching Funds

  1. Matching funds will be awarded at the beginning of each time period on a first-come, first-serve basis, and we will match all donations until the pool of matching funds has been depleted.
  2. For this contest we will match no more than $200 USD for each individual donor. If a donor contributes multiple times, only their first $200 USD will be matched.
  3. To ensure that you are getting the most out of the matching periods, we advise that you prepare many donors to contribute to your project at the very beginning of each matching period!
  4. We will let you know how much you earned in matching funds by September 30. This total will be subject to change if any donations made to your campaign are canceled or rejected.

If your organization is not focused on civic engagement, or if you’re based in Latin America, you’re welcome to join the campaign and raise funds during Hispanic Heritage Month. You will not be eligible for matching funds, but you will benefit from the increased visibility of all the public attention!
