The Mexican-American Dream scholarship was established by COFEM in 2008 to assist outstanding students of Mexican heritage who are economically disadvantaged.
For years, COFEM has provided a ray of hope and support for students of Mexican descent, who, despite their potential, face financial obstacles in pursuing their educational dreams. Our scholarship program, which specifically supports AB-540 and DACA recipients, undocumented individuals, and members of our federations, is a testament to our commitment to fairness and inclusivity. By offering $500 scholarships to community college students and $1,000 to students attending four-year colleges or universities, we are not just providing financial aid, but also instilling hope and optimism in their educational journeys. Many of our beneficiaries have overcome significant financial and immigration-related barriers to reach their goal of higher education. Your generous donation would allow COFEM to extend this lifeline to more students, making a profound difference in their lives.
Through the collaborative #BridgetoBrilliance campaign, we are not just inspiring and empowering individual students, but also fostering a sense of community and collective achievement. We believe that by inspiring and empowering more students to complete their undergraduate education and achieve their goals, together, we can create a ripple effect of positive change in our community.
