SOS Children's Villages is the world’s largest organization focused on ensuring that children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it grow up with the care 💙, relationships 👩‍👦‍👧 and support 📚 they need to become their strongest selves.  

Unfortunately, children´s rights are not always fulfilled 

Jhonathan is a 10 years old boy who arrives to SOS Children´s Villages with a history of domestic violence. For this reason, since his arrival it was important to provide him psycological and medical support, which revealed that Jhonathan suffers for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. For many families, this diagnosis could represent a "problem", but for SOS Children´s Villages it was the light that allowed us to know how we should accompany Jhonathan.

But still, together we make a difference.

Currently, Jhonathan is an organized, sociable, empathetic child, he has learned to communicate his emotions, he knows how to read and write perfectly and has become a leader. Today he feels cared for, protected and begins to trust in life. 

Today, there is hope and a promise of a better future.

At SOS Children´s Villages, our first priority is to help thousands of families stay together through family finance projects. With higher income, moms and dads can take better care of their children. And if this is not possible, we take in abandoned children and adolescents and create a space for them to grow up with all the support of an alternative family.
